Burns for freedom

A Tibetan nun who was only 20 years old set herself on fire. In the past Monks have been doing this as Tibetans want religious freedom. Tenzin Wangmo was the name of the nun who burnt herself for religious freedom in Tibet. Along with religious freedom wangmo wanted the Dalai lama to return to Tibet. Another two Tibetans were wounded outside ganzi. These two were protesting for the freedom of Tibet and the guards shot them. If the united nations try to get involved Chinese officials call them bias. Chinese officials also deny oppressing the Tibetans in any way. Clearly this is not true, since march 10 Tibetans have committed suicide as a way of peaceful protest. The dalai lama is hoping for a Tibet where they can atleast make their own decisions.

We can relate this to the ken cassey’s book one flew over the cukoos nest as we know the people in the hospital have been put down by the nurse. In this analogy the nurse would be a Chinese official and Cheswick could be the Tibetan nun. As Cheswick ended his life on his own because he was sick and tired of being treated like a kid who wants his cookies. The nun was tired of the religious intolerance given to her and her people therefore both resulted to self sacrifice. Its all for the bigger cause in the as mc Murphy goes on the win the battle he fought who knows there might be some victory for the Tibetan people who deserve their freedom.
